The Wand is a computer aided local anesthesia delivery system. Instead of a traditional injection, the Wand can often be used to get an area numb almost imperceptibly.

A computer chip monitors the delivery of anesthetic solution at a very slow controlled rate. This delivery of solution is usually below the patient’s threshold for perception.

With microabrasion, we need to get patients numb much less often than we used to. But when we do need to get a patient numb, the Wand has been a wonderful addition to our ability to deliver gentle dental care.
