Orthodontics

In order to accurately diagnose an orthodontic problem, full records are necessary.

These records include:

  1. Cephalometric X-ray: shows how the jaws and teeth are positioned relative to each other.
  2. Diagnostic Models: allow us to better visualize tooth arrangement and crowding.
  3. Diagnostic Photographs: show how treatment will affect esthetics.
  4. Panorex x-ray: shows the entire mouth, all teeth and roots and jaw structures. Normally this x-ray is taken for routine dental care also. An appointment of approximately an hour in length is necessary to take the records.

After all the records are prepared and diagnosed, a consultation appointment will be set up to discuss the findings. The diagnosis, time of treatment, and case fee will all be discussed at the consultation appointment.
