Implants
When teeth are missing, they can often be replaced by titanium implants.
Dr. Stein works with several local surgeons who have extensive experience in placing implants. Dr. Stein will take initial impressions of your mouth to diagnose and design ideal implant placement. He will create templates on these models. These templates guide the surgeon so the implants are placed exactly where needed to insure successful prosthetic placement.
After the implant has healed and the bone around it matured, Dr. Stein will place an abutment into the implant. Finally, a crown on top of the abutment (in the case of single tooth replacement), or dentures can be fabricated that snap into the implant(s).
