Dr. Stein has always offered his patient’s the latest in esthetic dentistry. Because dental technology is constantly changing, the only way to keep up is by constantly taking continuing dental education courses. Dr. Stein has averaged almost 100 hours of continuing dental education a year since opening his practice. He was one of the first dentists in the area to offer porcelain laminates (1986), and all porcelain bonded crowns (1992). He is a founding member of the World Congress of Microdentistry, and a certified Invisalign orthodontics provider. He has been providing his patients with orthodontic treatment since 1989, after completing a two year orthodontic program for general dentists. Dr. Stein has lectured to local dental societies on esthetics and microdentistry, and been interviewed on National Public Radio.

Because of his broad depth of knowledge and education, Dr. Stein is able to provide his patients with comprehensive multi-disciplinary care. Above is an example of a case in which the patient had her teeth orthodontically repositioned with Invisalign, before treating her front teeth with porcelain laminates. This case was featured in a Times Union article on esthetic dentistry dated March 14, 2004.
